ABOUT THE GAME Since its English-language release in 2011, .
In the eyes of many, S:S&S:EP legitimized the iPhone & iPad as platforms for worthwhile, long-form, experimental videogames.
S:S&S:EP was named one of Time Magazine’s Top 10 Videogames of 2011 in a list that included Dark Souls, Zelda: Skyward Sword, Skyrim & Uncharted 3.
S:S&S:EP was also the recipient of the Game Developer’s Choice Awards for Best Mobile/Handheld Videogame 2011, an award for which Super Mario 3D Land was also a finalist.
“It’s simply a magnificent game” says Suda 51, CEO of Grasshopper Manufacture, the studio behind such acclaimed games as No More Heroes, Killer 7, and Shadows of the Damned.
“There’s a long history of cool.
Ltd.
Executive Director Mark MacDonald.
“We figured it was time to return the favor, and #sworcery is the perfect package to do it in style.” S:S&S:EP is essentially a crude videogame haiku about life, love & death.
We suggest approaching it without specific expectations, at a time & in a place where you can relax, put on your headphones & be immersed.
S:S&S:EP is a product of the heart & soul of a tiny, dedicated team, with an emphasis on audiovisual style & synesthesia.
